Technical Sales Engineer (Ilog BRMS Sales Technology Specialist)

A pre-sales function, the Technical Sales Engineer (BRMS Technology Specialist) will work directly with ILOG Direct Sales Representatives and prospects to identify the technical fit between ILOG’s optimization technology and customer needs. Demonstrate and explain the benefits of ILOG technology, with a focus on BRMS. Maintain a technical liaison with existing clients and provide sufficient optimization expertise to establish credibility for ILOG's abilities and value proposition.
Tactical responsibilities will be to: provide technical presentations and product demonstrations, develop proof-of-concept prototypes, assist with feasibility studies, provide technical follow-up with prospects and contribute to technical proposals, RFI's and RFP's. Support marketing activities including trade shows and industry "webinars". Deliver live workshops to prospects and customers throughout the ALPS (Switzerland and Austria) |

- Advanced degree in Computer Science
- Ability to develop optimization models and application prototypes using mathematical programming and/or constraint programming technology in combination with Java, C++ or C#.
- Experience with C++, Java and/or C#.
- Experience with one or more of ILOG’s BRMS products (BRMS Jrules)
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with varied audience.
- At least 5 years experience in ILOG, BRMS, Pre-sales; C++; Java; Optimization;
- English: Fluent
- Minimum: Bachelors Degree; Preferred : Master's Degree in Information Technology
