Complex SI Consulting Programme Manager – Associate Partner
This role is responsible for leading a project team in delivering a solution to the customer using the appropriate business measurements and terms and conditions for the project according to the project charter, project agreement or contract. They have overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management. They are responsible for managing all project resources, including subcontractors, and for establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and the customer. They provide day to day direction to the project team and regular project status to the customer.

Applicants will have a strong IT background with hands on roles across the life cycle of IT delivery and now in leadership roles on large programme. They can operate in the sell & deliver space, shaping the deals as well as leading the delivery in a consulting context. They will be Partner-tracked individuals of very high calibre.

Applicants should take the time to ensure that their CVs clearly describe by engagement or project:
• The size of budget under their specific control (this should be the cost of services and should exclude software and/or infrastructure costs)
• The number of resources they directly managed (where 3rd parties were involved please be clear about their team sizes and the nature of their engagement)
• The nature and complexity of the technical solution (this could be defined in terms of the number of major systems to be integrated, the complexity of the technical architecture, the number of transactions to be processed, the number of users/sites for the implementation, the number of external parties working on the project, the number of stakeholder groups involved etc)
• The nature of deliverables the applicant was personally responsible for delivering as opposed to the achievements of the programme
• The extent and nature of interaction with the project client.

At least 5 years experience in • In depth background and considerable experience in bespoke systems design, development and implementation
At least 5 years experience in • Suitable direct experience of delivery management roles on formal projects / programmes with personal accountability for budgets, timescales and resources typically in the ranges of e6m-e40m+, 9-18
At least 5 years experience in • Experience of managing large and complex combined consulting and systems integration projects / programmes
At least 5 years experience in • Experience of communication to and interaction with senior client staff, typically including clients operating at board level
At least 5 years experience in • Experience in all project lifecycle phases (e.g. strategy, business case, contracting, mobilisation, requirements gathering, design, build, test, implementation, transition to support)
At least 5 years experience in • Consistent usage of formal project management methods, tools and techniques
At least 5 years experience in • Experience of multi-site programmes and projects
At least 5 years experience in • Experience of managing 3rd parties.

Additional information
Please note:
Systems integration experience will not be limited to repeat implementations of package based solutions e.g. Siebel, SAP, ERP etc.
Infrastructure build and software upgrade projects are not relevant to the role.
Experience of managing projects that include significant use of integration technologies will be highly regarded.
