Microsoft Dynamics Ax from Microsoft Business Solutions is a modern ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system aimed at businesses in the middle and upper market. Dynamics Ax is already an established brand and we are constantly striving to deliver the latest technology and best business processes to help our partners and customers realize their full potential. The Dynamics Ax customer base is growing rapidly at the moment and we are looking for software developers to add new and exciting features to the product. The Dynamics Ax Planning team based in Vedbæk in Denmark builds the planning features for the next release of Dynamics Ax which will include sales forecasting and supply chain and capacity planning. The team is responsible for everything from formulating the mathematical models, to presenting the results to the user and storing the plans in the ERP system.
Responsibilities:
As a Software Development Engineer in the planning team, you will work on the next version of planning features in Dynamics Ax. Your main work area will be around formulating the mathematical models used for planning and interfacing those with Dynamics Ax. You will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, documenting and stabilizing the features. |

- At least 5 years of software development experience with the ability to plan, design, develop and document software
- Good mathematical and algorithmic skills
- Knowledge about linear/constraint/integer programming will be a plus
- Experience with MS technologies such as Visual Studio, C#, C++, .Net, MSSQL
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, follow development standards and to work independently
- Commitment to team play
- Clear and effective communication skills
- A good command of written and spoken English
- Education or working experience at masters level
- ERP knowledge and specifically Dynamics AX and planning will be a plus |
