Entity Management is increasingly complex within JTI following the acquisition of Gallaher, with the financial risk profile of the entity structure increasing significantly, requiring dedicated attention to minimise this risk. This position is an integral part of worldwide corporate financial risk management and acts as a focal point for financial issues relating to the management of all JTI entities - ownership structure, capital structure, statutory financial reporting and governance. The Entity Finance Manager should: - Provide dedicated support in the area of Corporate Governance and Legal entity management. - Strengthen financial control & optimization of shareholder ownership structure, overseeing and maximizing the value of major corporate assets. - Provide centralized control and stewardship over key legal entity initiatives and issues. - Strengthen quality, control, consistency and visibility of statutory financial reporting and filing. - Contribute to minimizing the financial risk profile of the company. - Participate with Finance, Tax and Legal to develop a stronger governance framework, system of subsidiary company management, role of Board of Directors, and define and strengthen the finance role within corporate governance. The Entity Finance Manager works closely with the Entity Controller and with Tax, Treasury, Legal to make sure that there is alignment on entity issues. This includes the coordination of the monthly Restructuring Forum and management of issues arising therefrom. From time to time, the Entity Finance Manager will lead or be part of entity reviews which look at the financing structure of entities with the objective of maximizing the enterprise value of the entities concerned. In addition, the Finance Entity Manager will lead or be part of other projects as required. Areas of responsibility :
1. Work with Corporate Policy and Procedures Manager and the Entity Controller to define, implement and maintain the key elements of financial governance over key legal entities within JTI (ensuring from a JTIHBV parent company perspective that these key elements of financial control and financial governance are firmly embedded in the organization). 2. Develop, implement and manage a process to ensure control & visibility over financial statutory accounting and reporting of key entities. Provide control over statutory financial statement preparation, audit/review/valuation engagements (at statutory level to ensure consistency with parent company requirements). 3. Ensure strong financial governance, accurate and timely statutory financial accounting and reporting, tax preparation and filing, and documentation and legal record keeping within JTIHBV and key entities. 4. Support the Corporate Policy and Procedures Manager and the Entity Controller on Finance Entity Management, providing financial leadership and driving entity management projects and activities. Conduct periodic entity reviews and ensure resolution of key issues. Collaborates with key entities and BSC to strengthen balance sheet review process. 5. Work on ownership structure improvement and optimization (in collaboration with Tax, Treasury and Legal). 6. Ad hoc projects as required (e.g. Capital Structure reviews, balance sheet reviews, M&A activities etc.) |

- Qualified accountant. University degree. - 3-4 years with major Accounting firm (Experienced Senior level) - 1-2 years in a multinational, preferably in FMCG - Corporate accounting and reporting experience (Multinational) - Experience in project management - Fluent English essential; - MS Office, SAP.
