This role provides the underlying system platform programming support on which applications are developed and/or deployed. Their expertise is required in many environments which may include operating systems, application development platforms, networking, packaged software, etc.
We are seeking for an application developer or system specialist with application know-how for designing, implementing and maintaining performance monitoring. The applicant should be able to:
work with all aspects of performance management.
conduct performance analyses, identify supply shortfalls and work out tuning actions for systems and applications.
set up central performance standards and create performance reports.
work in an international environment with teams in New York, London and Asia.
Therefore you need to have skills in z/OS CICS, DB2, MQ, USS, WLM, I/O, CF. You should be experienced in working with IBM Mainframe Disk I/O subsystems and if possible you should have skills in application development with COBOL, Assembler, Java, XML.
You should be able to understand customer needs and respond to it appropriately. Providing support and meeting the clients requirements is the main focus of this work and will have to be performed in different locations. A reliable, independently working, flexible and target oriented person who likes to work in small teams will have a unique opportunity to work in most demanding and challenging environments. Regular education and interchange with highly skilled experts can be provided. |
