Lead strategic activities from definition to implementation and monitoring with a specific focus and expertise on Autoimmune & Emerging Therapies as well as early projects until Proof-of-Concept. Provide championship and marketing excellence for Autoimmune & Emerging Therapies (AETA) worldwide. Specifically this will involve proposing and getting agreement on the strategy and direction for AETA projects as well as leading specific activities (both marketing and cross-functional) with appropriate liaison with US, EU and International regions and as a core member of the Global Product Team. Specific emphasis on the following tasks and responsibilities for early projects:
Provide expert market knowledge and scientific insight on Autoimmune and Emerging Therapies Provide early commercial input into product development (new trends, competitive environment, market potential, input into protocol development): - Ad hoc membership of pre-clinical project teams - Full project team membership from phase I onwards Develop commercially viable and competitive positioning: TPP (Target Product Profile) and TPC (Target Product Claim) KOL identification, networking and development Advisory Board composition and agenda Publications planning and review for consistency with strategy Build awareness of Autoimmune and Emerging TAs Participate in commercial assessment of internal leads and licensing-in candidates Contribute to out-licensing strategy for selected projects Brand name development In addition, as projects enter Phase 3:
Implement TA strategy for AETA brand (launch and LCM) and support local implementation Provide marketing input to Global Product team Chair Global Launch Team for the Brand Lead further development of TPP (Target Product Profile) and TPC (Target Product Claim) in line with the TA strategy Provide on-going market review including competitive intelligence, market trends and treatment evolutions for the Brand Define global positioning, branding, target audience and key messages for Brand Review regional Brand Marketing plans Define, agree and ensure delivery of (global) promotional support for the Regions Develop and obtain approval for brand forecasts - interact with Supply Chain Ensure the development and approval of global pricing and reimbursement strategies with support for implementation Define and manage global brand marketing budgets (including TA budget for support functions) Work as a team member of the new Therapy Area to lead the development and implementation of designated projects across the Franchise. |

Degree level background, preferably with MBA Scientific background English mandatory, other languages an asset Significant sales and marketing experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, preferably including sales. representation. International Product management and experience of launching a new product desirable. Good Knowledge of Autoimmune and Emerging Therapies markets. Competent in standard computer packages: Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), with ability to interact with senior level management. Strong Influencing skills. Enthusiasm, drive and commitment. Good team player. Strong strategic and analytical thinking. |
