The main responsibilities of the ARIBA Expert will be to: Actively support Global Spend Management System's roll out projects to Latin America, further European countries & Asia Pacific, within the next 3 years, applying Roche Informatics Project Management Methodology Integrate in a team of 10 people in the scope of the Global Spend Management System roll out including Roche technicians and liasing with business project team. Support Project management with creating a country-specific roll out concept Focus is to support the business processes required in line with global procurement strategy and with local regulations Build on the global ARIBA core that has been developed & rolled out in Western Europe and North America Support business when leveraging best practices & experience made in previous roll-outs (10 sites, mainly in Europe & North America) Self speaking build and maintain a good relationship within the team and regularly informing about progress, issues and risks Exploit synergies and ensure best practice sharing for the projects of his responsibility across Informatics Participate & support smooth hand-over into operations, execute post implementation reviews |

University/ Technical University degree Approx. 3-7 years experience in Informatics, at least one year with ARIBA Proven knowledge of the following languages/ technologies: ARIBA Buyer, ARIBA Contract Workbench, ARIBA Sourcing, ARIBA Analysis, JAVA, WebLogic, AML, XML, TIBCO, HTML, ORACLE databases, UNIX Participation in at least one complex project across functions & geography Ability to work in a geographically distributed project team Experience in eProcurement processes for being able to understand business requirements and priorities and delivering business valued solutions Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Strong customer orientation & demonstrated sense of urgency/ empowerment.
