The Solution Lifecycle Manager - Test Lead is a position working in Pharma Global Informatics (PG) Delivery Services Safety to manage the testing lifecycle of the Drug Safety applications portfolio. In this role you will be responsible for the operational robustness of safety applications by ensuring adherence to best practice testing standards and procedures. This will involve working with the Shared Services Center in Warsaw, including third party testing teams if required, the PG team and business users. Other specific responsibilities include:
* Be accountable for ensuring that any changes to existing or new applications are following appropriate testing procedures and standards such that they maintain their integrity and validated state during their lifetime. * Be responsible for testing of new systems in accordance with Informatics Project Manager Process Framework methodology, including new releases into the test, maintenance and productive environments, following change management procedures. * Be responsible for training the test team on processes and procedures to ensure good quality testing, including providing expertise and support to the test team on best practices. * Be accountable for the creation of appropriate and qualitative system test documentation including test plans, test scripts and test reports. * Be responsible for liaising with the technical team in ensuring the set-up and availability of appropriate test environments for conducting the unit, system and user acceptance test cycles. * Be accountable for system tests design and execution. Ensure testing is conducted appropriately, and support/coordinate user acceptance testing. * Keep abreast of Testing CSV and technical guidelines, quality aspects and best practice tools and techniques. * Ensure appropriate usage of best practice testing tools and techniques on system projects and application change tasks. * Ensure compliance with security SOPs/policies. |

You have a degree in IT, engineering or equivalent as well as extensive experience with applications testing. Eight to ten years of experience in IT/IM in a pharmaceutical environment is required, preferably in Drug Safety. You will have proven experience with leading test teams, good communication skills as well as high level knowledge of data/object modeling and system architecture/design. An excellent knowledge of the full systems development lifecycle is required within a validated environment, as is the ability to be customer/business focused in supporting the delivery of a quality solution. Knowledge of and experience with the technologies employed in this environment would be an asset - for example Test Director, automated test tools, MS Office products. Excellent English language skills are essential for this role. Furthermore the position requires strong interpersonal skills, mobility and ability to work in a global team matrix organisation.
