Management Start-Up - Diagnostics Finance & Services
Are you a university graduate and looking for a career in Finance & Services? Our Management Start-up program might then be a good fit for you!

The global function Roche Diagnostics Finance and Services operates, develops and optimizes business processes and makes the infrastructure available for the global tasks of Finance, Supply Chain Management/Logistics, IT, Procurement and Engineering. Its responsibilities include Finance and Controlling within the Division Diagnostics as well as the flow of goods world-wide.

The Management Start-up program is the ideal point of entry for graduates aiming to gain experience with global process subjects. As part of the 2 years lasting program you will work actively in local and international projects and learn how excellent processes and innovative concepts are designed and implemented on a global and local level. By working in different projects for 3-6 months you will receive not only insight into various areas of Finance, but you will also be made familiar with other specific processes of the Division Diagnostics in the area of Supply Chain, Procurement or IT.

A combination of intensive training on the job and complementary development off the job gives you the possibility to start up a international career and develop into a future leadership position. You get support by a senior executive as a mentor.

As the program is based at Roche Diagnostics International Ltd. in Cham/ Switzerland and/or on one of the main sites of the Division Diagnostics, it is important that you are eager and flexible to move globally.

To be part of the program you have finished your study of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Information Management in a timely manner and with above average results. First practical experience through internships with at least one abroad or first business experience (max. 1-2 years) are a precondition for this program. Additionally, you are fluent in English and have a high degree of Computer literacy. Experience in Project Management is desired.

Being a talent with excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with strong leadership abilities you are able to work independently as well as with a team.

The program will start in spring 2009 and the closing date for applications is the 15th of January 2009. After a pre-selection process, the final candidates will be invited to an Assessment Center which takes place in February 2009 at headquarters in Basel.
