This position will be based either at the Roche headquarters in Basel or the Roche affiliate in Welwyn, UK. As a Global Project Manager you will work with your project team to develop the strategies and activities required for the development and commercialization of a successful product. You will create and maintain an integrated project plan, ensuring that the plan is aligned with the approved strategy and appropriately balances time, cost, risk and quality. In addition, you will proactively identify, and work with the project team to resolve issues impacting the strategic and tactical planning for the project. Some international travel may be required depending on the project. Responsibilities will include: Driving the creation of the project plan and regularly updating the plan to ensure up-to-date information is available. Tracking project progress, identifying deviations and ensuring optimal management of critical path activities. Actively managing the project budget, regularly generating financial forecasts and identifying and managing the factors driving changes in forecast. Identifying potential project risks / opportunities and developing appropriate contingency / scenario plans. Leading the project team in the collation, analysis and dissemination of project management information and updating relvant documents and electronic systems. Provide key project data to support Roche's portfolio management processes. Day-to-day management of project activities working in close collaboration with the Project Leader |
