Roche has established and implemented a comprehensive framework for Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) throughout the Group. On a yearly basis we perform a control effectiveness assessment. The Corporate Finance Accounting & Controlling ICFR Office is responsible for maintaining and enhancing ICFR.
We want to strengthen our central team located in Basel, Switzerland, with an experienced auditor. The tasks encompass:
Propose enhancements to current approach (yearly change process)
Take overall responsibility for ICFR in various group companies
Perform design and operating effectiveness testing in group companies
Identify deficiencies in the control environment. Assist the group companies to develop action plans. Monitor open issues. You will be part of a team of 8 people reporting to the Head of CFA-ICFR. |

You have a solid finance/accounting/audit background and a minimum of 2 years professional experience, preferably with the internal audit department of a multinational industrial or financial services company or with an audit company (big four). You have the talent to develop relationships and take responsibility for projects. You are able to work in teams on multiple tasks, meeting deadlines. You are prepared to travel and work in a multicultural environment. Additionally, you have SAP knowledge (FI/CO) and excellent verbal and written English skills. Proficiency in further languages, preferably German or Spanish, would be an asset.
