Manage critical and sensible data, Develop and maintain bioinformatics analysis platform
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Software development
- standard bioinformatics RAD (scripting)
- interfaces for Bioinformatics applications and databases
- LIMS: support for Laboratory management system
- high performance programming (computational analysis software)
Data Management: tasks related management of critical and sensible (clinical) data (as a backup)
Database management and development (DBMS)
Systems (unix): maintain and optimize the bioinformatics platform
Make proposals for technical solutions and development strategy |

Fluent in English. French is an additional asset.
Preferably 3-4 years of experience in industry, academic institution or collaborative projects (e.g. open-source consortium). Strong interest and motivation for life sciences and scientific applications
Proficient in software development with dynamic languages and C/C++
Experience of DBMS administration and development
Strong background in Unix/Linux systems
Strong problem-solving skills. Strong team spirit. Meticulous, rigorous. Good time management skills. |
