To complete our dynamic Marketing department based in the Geneva European Corporate Head Office, we are looking for a Translation Editor – Ralph Lauren Media. A key opportunity is available for a seasoned editor who has outstanding multi lingual skills to join the creative teams supporting the e-commerce interactive activities of Ralph Lauren Media.
The successful candidate must have outstanding linguistic skills, being fluent in at least English, French and German, and experience in the luxury brand arena, coupled with strong multi-tasking project management skills and the role will collaborate and help deliver creative that defines and characterizes the various brands under Polo Ralph Lauren. The Translation Editor will partner with the Editor-in-Chief, Digital Media and external translation vendors to ensure that the voice of the groups’ brands in key local languages is maintained in all digital media.
Key Accountabilities:
•Partner with RLM’s New York based Editor-in-Chief, Digital Media to approve all translated site, merchandise and email copy.
•Collaborate with remote Creative partners to ensure that translated material maintain the appropriate brand voice and identity.
•Meet with local business leads to review local translation requirements, developing and maintaining subsequent best practices.
•Lead management of translation workflow and approval processes to ensure creative timelines are met. |

•Written and verbal fluency (to native language level) of English, German and French.
•At least 5 years experience managing translation requirements in the luxury business arena.
•3 years experience working with creative teams directly in the luxury interactive arena.
•Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
•Understanding of colloquial language
•Strong attention to detail with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
•Strong multitasking abilities, highly flexible.
•Ability to maintain a high standard of design and productivity in a fast paced work environment. |
