Laboratory for Social and Neural Systems Research (SNS).
We are looking for an EEG researcher at the post-doctoral level who will start up our new EEG laboratory and take general responsibility for its functionality. This laboratory hosts a custom-made actively shielded cabin (including airconditioning); electrophysiological equipment will be purchased according to the choice of the successful applicant.

The successful applicant will have ample opportunity to engage in multidisciplinary research projects, leading to high-profile publications. She/he will be supported in developing an individual research profile and building up his/her own research group. Close interactions with other experimental and theoretical scientists at the SNS lab are possible and desirable. In particular, there are exciting opportunities of combining EEG with TMS, pharmacology and computational modeling.

Applicants should have a PhD and should be interested in both the neuroscientific and technical aspects of EEG research. Both junior and senior postdoctoral researchers are invited to apply. The position is available immediately for an initial duration of two years; subsequently, it can be made permanent (renewal on a rolling basis). Salary is negotiable and will depend on qualifications and experience. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
