Ltd. in Rotkeuz, specialises in the development and maintenance of IT solutions in the field of medical technology. The GPS IS area is now expanding and is seeking an energetic, motivated person with strong leadership skills to help develop the next generation of our applications. In this position you will be expected to:
· Transfer system designs and specifications into accurate program code · Analyze, troubleshoot and correct existing program code · Review performance and responsiveness, to enhance function and usability · Provide work estimates for assigned development tasks and complete in a timely manner · Provide work status and issue notification to appropriate project members · Maintain existing software modules and provide 3rd level support · Design and implement detail design documents based on requirements · Follow industry standard applications development techniques and practices · Create test plans and execute according to defined GPS Information Solutions procedures · Participate in all of the various stages of development from design sessions and core development through critical bug fixes and patches · Communicate effectively in English (and German) |

Extensive programming experience with Caché (MUMPS) Software development for Hospital / Laboratory Information Systems or medical devices, or experience with laboratory environments and workflows Developing for Windows XP/2003 and with distributed systems XML, JavaScript and User Interface Design Windows 2000/2003 programming
Knowledge with any of the following would be beneficial:
Source Control, Visual Basic, Visual C++, C# Laboratory Information Systems / Work Area Managers Programming of interface protocols (RS232 / Network / TCP/IP) for communication with embedded systems Programming experience with distributed systems XML, JavaScript, XSL, XSD, HTML, Report tools, such as Crystal Reports
