Recruitment Center Manager
Lead the recruitment center team to meet Geneva staffing needs as per hiring plans
Optimize the use by HR and line managers of the recruitment platform to gain in operational quality and efficiency.
Develop recruitment best practices with HR, Line management and recruitment agencies / head hunters
Manage candidate relationships for key / strategic positions in order to anticipate on needs and reduce lead time
Promote Company branding in local and professional Communities within the frame of Merck Serono branding strategy

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Lead the recruitment center team to meet HQ staffing needs as per hiring plans
- Develop the recruitment strategy in collaboration with HR Generalists (based on their HR and Hiring Plans)
- Drive recruitment operations (profiling, interview planning, T&E, relocation…)
- Interview candidates / Coordinate interviews
- Manage job offers to candidates jointly with HR Generalists
- Cooperate with the employee support group on new recruits administrative on-boarding

Optimize the use by HR and line managers of the recruitment platform to gain in operational quality and efficiency
- Develop recruitment best practices with HR and Line management
- Review current work flow across functions / Units and in cooperation with HR Generalists, agree on (a) redefined process flow to meet business needs
- Manage buy-in with HR Generalists and Line managers;
- Implement redefined processes

Develop HQ recruitment best practices with HR, Line management and recruitment agencies / head hunters
Manage candidate relationships for key / strategic positions in order to anticipate on needs and reduce lead time in cooperation with Corporate Talent Sourcing
- Establish priority areas, creating unique selling proposition for each, gaining buy-in from business partners (HR and/or Line)
- Coordinate action with Head of Talent Sourcing
- Supervise Adecco implant services as well as those of recruitment agencies/headhunters in terms of quality, timing, budget and customer service
- Develop and Coach recruitment staff in the resolution of complex customer issues.

Manage Merck Serono profile in local/international and professional communities (advertising, job fairs, seminars, etc)

Fluent in English and French. German is an asset.
University degree in a scientific or business subject. Certification in Interviewing and Assessment skills.

10 years of recruitment in the Industry (as in-house recruiter or consultant), with a minimum of 3 to 5 years in an international environment
Experience in Life Sciences / Pharma / Biotech will be an asset.
Proven track record in delivering on recruitment objectives as part of a recruitment organization
Experience of using on-line recruitment management systems and high level of IT literacy
Track record in recruitment of highly qualified staff
HQ exposure (local or global) would be a plus

Results orientated. People management skills. Good relationship management skills and team player.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
