Temporary Finance Support Staff
The ILO regularly has short-term vacancies for locally recruited* finance support staff. In order to fill these vacancies quickly, we are establishing a roster of suitable candidates who can be called upon at short notice.
Given the nature of these ad hoc vacancies, the ILO is unable to respond to queries regarding individual applications. Selected candidates will be contacted only if their profiles meet the requirements of a specific vacancy.

* An official shall be classified as locally recruited if, at the time of appointment, s/he fulfils any of the following conditions:
(i) is a Swiss national;
(ii) is a French national living within a radius of 25km from Geneva;
(iii) irrespective of nationality, has been living continually for one year within a radius of 25km from Geneva.

Qualifications: High School Diploma
Accounting cert.
Experience: 1 year +

English : Speak / Write Fluently

Completed secondary or commercial school supplemented by tertiary training in accounting.
Candidates should have an excellent knowledge of English with a good working knowledge of French. For some posts a good or working knowledge of Spanish would be an asset.
Excellent accounting knowledge, practical accounting skills and very good analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to work with computerized financial applications, word processing and spreadsheet software including the creation of reports and databases. Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally. Ability to deal with clients and to respond to their queries. Ability to work in a team and to work under pressure.
