- The Business Analysis Manager has direct responsibility for one or more disease areas or brands and will have all the responsibilities of the International Business Analysts for those disease or brand areas. - The Business Analysis Manager will move the function forward through continuous innovation in methods and through sharing of best practices - The Business Analysis Manager is the focal point for therapy area requests which are non-product related. - Manages a team of International Business Analysts
Key activities - Ensures the market research needs of the Lifecycle Teams or Disease Area Manager Team are met with a high standard of disease area knowledge, analytic and market research skills. - Ensures that training is provided to build capabilities. - Works closely with the Business Directors, Lifecycle Leaders, International Business Leaders and Disease Area Managers to ensure a level of excellence is achieved. - Ensures that the International Business Analysts have the skills and capabilities to understand the product forecast, collect the "objective" data, and to facilitate the Delphi sessions where the actual forecast input variables for a product, Lifecycle initiative or new product are created. - Oversees the forecasting process with the Forecast Manager to ensure forecasts are internally consistent, consistent across different products and that the business assumptions are clear and transparent. - Takes leadership to work across functions and sites to ensure competitive information and intelligence is easily and readily available on a product, disease area and company basis. |

A business or science degree is required. At least five years experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the function of product marketing, market research and/or analysis is required Track record of project management experience in a complex and multiple project environment and its financial, human and IT resources. Has a solid basis of experience in pharmaceutical product marketing or market research and knows the customer and market segment well. Has made impactful presentations to senior management and the external environment. Has managed people - including recruitment and performance management of employees.
