Within the Corporate Compliance group, the incumbent will be responsible for developing, monitoring and updating processes and tools that support JTI's anti-Illicit trade efforts and correspond to JTI's legal and regulatory obligations (such as Customers and Suppliers certification, approvals and monitoring processes); Manage Corporate Compliance projects and ensure global rollout in close cooperation with field compliance officers and local management in the achievement and maintenance of (local) operations' and the monitoring of levels of compliance in line with our Code of Conduct.
1. PROGRAM MANAGEMENT: Fully in charge of the business analysis in the different functions with theview to improving tham and ensure compliance with JTI's commitments and legal requirements. This will involve the investigation and mapping of business processes, suggestion for improvements and leadership in the implemenattion of the new processes while suatining constant dialogue and collaboration with the Field Compliance Officers. 2. IMPLEMENTATION: Lead project implementation of IT tools and databases that will support the business controls developed by Compliance by facilitating meetings, following up and testing the development and coordinating the implementation rollout. 3. DATABASE MANAGEMENT: Responsibility for creating, maintaining and updating JTI worldwide databases related to programs which are owned by the Corporate Compliance function so that they meet required internal and external standards (where other JTI functions own the responsibility for such databases - assist in their creation, maintenance and update). Such databases are needed to meet obligations under the JTI-EU Cooperation Agreement and other forms of regulatory requirements. 4. MONITORING AND REPORTING: Monitor the effectiveness of the implementation of compliance-related programmes and communications and feed back improvement opportunities to Corporate Compliance management. Ensure Compliance projects include the reporting functionality as per regulatory obligations. 5. INFORMATION: coordinate and document the requests from the Government officials to access JTI databases. Liaise with relevant internal functions to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of information as required by officials. Maintain appropriate records of approvals and certification and make information available to internal and external parties as required. 6. AWARENESS OF JTI PROGRAMS: Liaise with other sections of the Corporate Compliance & Anti-Illicit Trade groups to maintain a detailed awareness of all programs and procedures as they relate to area of responsibility. |

University, MBA or equivalent professional qualification. Background in areas such as IT, Finance desirable Minimum 5 years of industry experience. Strong knowledge of procurement and tobacco manufacturing processes, basic understanding of SAP. Confirmed project management experience. Fluent English, and preferably a second language. Competent computer skills along with MS Office and database management |
