Reporting to the Head of the SAP Business Team, the Global SAP Process Lead - Finance & P2P is responsible for the continous improvement of the SAP system, the Support of the system and the Governance to ensure stability and reliability of the SAP system.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership of Business Process and SAP Technology, within IATA
- Lead Transformational Change across the IATA group to leverage SAP technology to drive best practice.
- Manage the execution of this strategy into tangible results
- Provide leadership on the future trends of SAP and other emerging related technologies and incorporate these trends into the SAP roadmap.
- Actively work with the business to identify opportunities to incorporate new functionality into SAP and maximize benefits
Data Governance
- Governance of data quality, data management, business process management, and risk management surrounding the handling of all SAP data in IATA, enabling positive control over the processes and methods
Guardian of the ERP Solution
- Managing the end to end service operations and the application change management services of the SAP Solution in line with pre-agreed SLA’s
- Own the SAP solution
- Provide Governance for the SAP Solution for projects and provide Quality Assurance checkpoints for all project work for their stream
- Be the one point of call for all questions regarding the current functional solution and all future solutions for that stream
- Provide training to the Champion Users and own the training material |

University degree in business administration, IT or other related field;
7+ years SAP experience in one or many modules; extensive knowledge or process modeling in a SAP environment;
Experience in all areas of the SAP SDLC (system development life cycle);
Ability to talk at a strategic level to senior business leaders;
Ability to influence the strategic direction of the technological solution to be aligned with business needs, translate it into tasks, perform these tasks and/or manage someone who is performing these tasks;
Strong consulting and leadership skills;
Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages would be an asset. |
