Direct management of Commitment Process to the Brand-Category assigned
To provide analytical support to the Production Planning Manager
Maintain an in depth systems and process knowledge of the European forward supply chain processes for strategic development. Work in association with Sourcing, Brand Planning, Production, Customer Service to manage/optimise the commitment of product from Global Manufacturing.
Accountabilities/Action Steps
· Sales forecast reception and analysis. SKUs control & analysis.
· Preparation of the commitment scenarios for each season. Negotiate CFCs & Flex lead times.
· Achieve delivery goals. Review impact of delivery dates, shipping modes on product supply.
· Commitment process management & PO placing to PRLS
· Control of price deviation related to the commitment process (up charges / liabilities).
· Follow up of the line assortment & apply changes to commitment process.
· Follow up of weekly financial market target & apply to sales forecast reprojection.
· Interact with dependent associated departments within the supply chain to effectively manage data flow, integrity and accuracy.
· Develop and implement concise operational models to aid decision making requirements in line with Brand Production Planning department.
· Control & management of the Pull process.
· Detect items with potential delivery problems & Request delivery improvements to PRLS + alert Customer Services
· Participate on the integration and Standardization of procedures among all Brand Production Planning departments.
· Produce presentational material to extend Production Planning department information to senior management and internal business partners |

Managerial and communication skills.
3-4 years Retail or Wholesale experience.
Knowledge of Supply Chain & Inventory management
High degree of computer literacy, especially Excel.
Access, VBA, SQL and other systems experience is all advantageous
Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
Creative and conceptual work approach with vision to improve efficiency.
Efficient time management and organisational ability.
Ability to deal with uncertainty
Control of detail & precise work (size level management)
Excellent verbal and technical written English. |
