Regional Implementation Manager, Europe, IATA e-freight
Reporting to the Head of IATA e-freight Implementation with dotted line to the Regional Cargo Director EMEA, the Regional Implementation Manager Europe will manage IATA e-freight implementation activities in the EMEA region to ensure that e-freight implementation targets are reached.

Responsibilities
Manage e-freight implementation in new locations: lead and co-ordinate the work of local stakeholders from endorsement of the location as 'e-freight ready' to completion of first e-freight consignments
Manage the e-freight Business Working Group (BWG) in locations already live to ensure on-going implementation of the e-freight product as it is enhanced. In 2010 and 2011 this will involve implementation of dangerous goods, implementation of electronic invoices and packing lists with shippers, implementation of e-AWB between forwarders and airlines and others.
When relevant, contribute to the development of the global e-freight product by project managing, or contribute to Proof of Concepts with selected local stakeholders, for new aspect of Business Process and Standards (BPS), as designated by the e-freight central team.
Support the creation of a pipeline of locations ready for e-freight implementation by supporting, as regional expert, the Detailed Location Assessments (DLAs) and Location Action Plans (LAPs) led locally by the StB e-freight country reps
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree (logistics, air transportation, project management, business development or IT management)
Experience: 7 years +

University degree in logistics, air transportation, project management, business development or IT management.
Proven previous Project Management experience with international, multi-functional project teams.
Proven ability to engage and lead stakeholders through complex change management projects.
Self-starting individual but also strong team player.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Second or third European language also appreciated.
Previous experience in air cargo a plus but not required.
