Senior Java / Python Software Engineer (m/f)
We offer
- An interesting position to be responsible to complete independent technical analysis, design, development and implementation of the application specific Business Rules engine, written in C++ with XML and Python
- Planning, development and delivery of moderately complex business requirements, technical specifications and design documents
- Planning and conduct of successful unit, performance, system, integration and acceptance testing as well as code reviews and incorporation of lessons learned into work methods
- Extensive business knowledge of private banking order routing across various asset classes
- Provision of 3rd level support of system relevant components
You offer
- Higher degree in information technology
- Java (server) development in a real time environment, Python, C/C++
- XML, XSLT, SQL/JDBC (Sybase), JMS/Web Services/MQ, Multi Threading, Linux, Eclipse, ClearCase, Ant/Maven
- Experience with order routing applications, trading and order routing know-how (front, middle and back-office) as an advantage
- Solid understanding of securities such as equities, options, futures, fixed income and similar required
- Any message based trading system or financial experience as an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English
