Account Manager II
Cisco seeks an Account Manager for Enterprise clients in Zürich. This position requires a strong aptitude for identifying customer business needs and for building relationships with primary influencers in the purchasing decision process. An ability to understand and work with organizations at the local national level in Switzerland is also essential.

The ideal candidate has client-side experience or industry experience in a similar role, and is comfortable with developing mid- and long-term strategy, budgeting and other business needs. This is a great chance to apply your sales skills and experience working within a world-class organization.

Skills and responsibilities
- Strong vertical know-how required as conversations with Business people are increasingly important and necessary
- Experience in handling $10m - $15m quotas and deliver flawlessly on weekly commits while knowing that the business runs exclusively through Part¬ners (no direct business involved).
- Build relationships within all layers of the Accounts with strong focus on CxO and Business level. Continuous maintaining and growing of these relationships is key to the success of the individual as well as for Cisco.
- Business planning (write and agree to business plans). Business reporting with weekly forecast, weekly commit, and funnel development.

- BA degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent and/or 5+ years of successful key account management experience in a fast-growth, high-tech Company.
- Strong selling skills in large accounts as well as sound knowledge and experience in selling complex IT solutions and services.
- Understanding of large business organizations and their buying cycles.
- Demonstrated experience with solution selling a must.
- Very strong understanding of the different roles in an Account (e.g. CIO, Head of IT, Procurement, Technical Decision makers as CTO/COO as well as the Services Departments).

- Ability to be proactively part of “political” situations at the Customer as well as taking a lead in terms of driving the “situation(s)” accordingly.
