The Global Training Manager plans, implements and manages training and continuous education across the GCP related areas of the Merck Serono Research & Development organization. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES Functional Tasks · Develops, performs and evaluates training need analyses · Develops and implements functional training plans (including Functional Annual Quality Training Plan) · Provides training consulting services to internal partners · Collaborates with and co-ordinates in- and external specialists to deliver training · Co-ordinates the development of and/or develops and adapts training material (including e-learning) to meet company-specific standards · Administrates international training logistics on project level · Develops and implements introductory training for new employees aligned with global strategy · Develops, implements and coordinates Global Quality Document training · Develops and implements international training initiatives (Curricula) as agreed upon with line management. · Provides input/is actively involved in system training projects as defined by project team · Scouts trends in the area of learning management. Evaluates new learning methods and technical requirements (i.e. e-learning) · Supports development and implementation of a GCP training strategy in alignment with corporate strategy · Develops and implements global processes (Quality Documents) for Learning Management · Provides input/direction to Corporate Information Services and HR in developing, implementing and enhancing appropriate application systems for training, e-learning and knowledge sharing. · Manages Learning Management Systems on functional level · Performs other tasks and projects as requested by line manager · Networks with in- and external customers and partners. Experience in training (analysis, design, delivery, evaluation) Ability to lead global project teams Comprehensive knowledge of ICH/GCP, FDA regulatory requirements Strong project management and process development skills Superior negotiation skills Excellent didactic and consultative skills Excellent computing skills (e.g. MS-Office standard software package, data bases, web-based applications).
