The purpose of this role is to support defining company's strategic directions setting through leading competitive monitoring, benchmarking and intelligence as well as facilitating certain global initiatives/Excom sub-processes, including Investor Relations.
Areas of responsibility 1- Analyze competitors' strategy, performance and other critical events; benchmark strategy and performance; publish regular and timely reports; in order to provide useful insights to Senior Executives and Business Unit Managers. 2- Lead in building and maintaining Competitive Intelligence capabilities, in order to imprve tactical decision making and refine long-term strategic direction through alerting senior management to potential economic advantages/penalties in quantified forms and alternative counter-strategies. 3- Lead periodic Investor Relations activities within JTI to assist JT Investor Relations team. 4- Identify and define the scope of strategic issues and opportunities and translate them into clear implementation objectives in order to support Company’s strategy development, including designing and improving process(es). 5- Offer support to markets or functions through expert knowledge in solving multiple or complex business issues or in reaching the best strategic recommendation. 6- Capitalize on relationship networks (external and internal) and continuously strive to increase their impact on facilitating support to the organization. 7- Undertake special project work as and when required.
