Global Account Manager Transformational Accounts
We are looking for an individual who coordinates all Cisco activities in the account, e.g. sales activity, marketing programs, executive forums and delivery of on-going engagements

Key responsibilities are:
• Engages cross-Cisco sales specialists, channel and alliance partners to fully leverage the portfolio of Cisco’s products, technology offerings and services as components of a comprehensive winning solution that differentiates Cisco from the competition and market peers
• Co-ordinate global Sales activities and deals
• Being a strong leader for team experts
• Manage relationship with customer and CXO level
• Ability to put experts into action
• Personal value proposition
• Ensures that operational excellence and the highest levels of customer service are upheld at all times to differentiate Cisco Systems from competitors
• Provides the business rationale and risk assessment for making Cisco investments in the account
• Focuses on senior business management and acts as trusted advisor on IT/Telco solutions that address the account’s business challenges
• Responsible for the commercial and contractual account conditions agreed between Cisco and the client. Ensuring that the individual contracts are signed and that they are in accordance with the Global Agreement
• Represent Cisco Systems at client events (key note speeches, presentations, round tables)
• Ensures that client needs and expectations are defined and acted on accordingly (Expectation Management)
• Responsible for the professional escalation management
• Defines account strategies, business plans and reliable forecasts
• Builds long-term growth opportunities using the Account Business Planning process. Leverages existing engagements to spawn new opportunities that result in on-going profitable revenue growth for Cisco
• Develop, nurture and close new Cisco solutions opportunities that result in substantial incremental orders, revenue and margins to Cisco
• Collects all relevant account information and distributes according to Cisco reporting needs.
• Coaches and motivates global account team members and acts a strong leader

• A bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline or business administration, an MBA is desirable
• English (written and oral)
• Experience in managing successfully a global key account
• A minimum of 10 years practical experience in sales and service environments
• Strong affinity for IT and business solutions, wide experience in business development (ability to merge IT and business lines)
• Broad experience in relationship and expectation management
• Experience in the development of client accounts (influencing IT strategy, providing IT consultancy, acting as sparing partner to the IT key people, generating new IT projects)
• Solid project management understanding
• Experience in negotiation and in dealing with complex contracts
• Must possess executive presence, high energy, ability to manage complexity and broad scope, and be comfortable in a matrix environment
• Strong written and verbal communications skills coupled with solid executive presence and the ability to establish immediate credibility
• Ability to coordinate and mobilize resources within matrix structures
• International and multicultural experience
