As a Global Project Manager you will work with your Lifecycle Team (LCT) to develop strategies and to determine the activities required for the development and commercialization of a successful product. You will create and maintain an integrated project plan, ensuring that the plan is aligned with the approved strategy and appropriately balances time, quality and costs. In addition, you will proactively identify, and work with the LCT, to resolve issues impacting the strategic and tactical planning for the project. You will be prepared to travel internationally. Aim and scope:
To provide oversight for delivery of the defined project objectives within the constraints agreed by the organisation. Proactively identify and work with the project team to resolve issues impacting the strategic and tactical planning for the project. To lead the development of and manage the integrated project plans for projects in the DBA (Disease Biology Area) and SPC porfolios, including licensing-in candidates. To facilitate scenario planning activities within the project team. To manage project budgets so that team goals are met. To contribute to improvements of the systems, tools and processes used in Global Project Management. To generate necessary outputs for project team, portfolio and strategic updates. Perform daily project management activities on the project teams. |

We are looking for someone with a scientific or business background with demonstrated project management skills and/or experience in drug development. Budget management and financial experience. Result orientated, open minded with positive attitude. Good analytical thinking, a structured working manner with an ability to prioritise, plan and manage multiple tasks and sense of urgency. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and experience working in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment. Used to multi-tasking and working to deadlines. Fluent spoken and written English.
