As part of our succession planning process, we are looking for the group leader in Process Automation and MES. The successful candidate will work and cooperate closely with the incumbent for several months during the transition period in order to ensure smooth hand-over and uninterrupted support of the business. In this position you will be responsible for the following area: - lead a group of senior / lead Automation Engineers within Pharma Global Engineering and network globally with the Automation Engineers in our Pharma production facilities - work close aligned with related functions in technical development and operations to promote the development of state of the art Automation and MES concepts and technologies and support their deployment and integration through projects in new and existing facilities - promote a performance culture with encouraging coaching, supporting your co-workers in achieving the ambitious goals

For this position you bring the following qualification: reputed Engineer with a Masters Degree or PhD in Automation Engineering broad technology know-how > 10 years experience including at least PLCs, SCADAs, DCSs, MESs, data historians, relational databases, system integration. Systems are validated according to GMP/ GAMP/ FDA publications are of advantage broad Automation project management know-how experience (several projects) in leading positions with track record of increasing leadership responsibilities good communication skills and the ability to build personal relationships proficient in English, other languages are of benefit |
