The Head of MSAT, Packaging and Rocephin Manufacturing is responsible for leading a team (up to 25 persons) in charge of local transfer management, qualification of equipment, process validation and optimization. You will report directly into the Technical Manager (Head of Packaging and Rocephin Manufacturing Kaiseraugst).
In this function your main activities are: Drive evaluation and/or implementation of innovative process technologies handed over by Bio MSAT or PTD global development functions to be implemented in operations Kaiseraugst Post-commercial process improvement (e.g. Manufacturing technologies) Share experience and contribute to the Governance body and activities of MSAT Network Business Processes and Cross-Site/Functional Committees Accountable for Commercial Product Tech Transfer, Mfg Tech Supports and Process Improvements Accountable for Introducing Mfg Technology and Managing Technology Portfolio to Enhance Operation Efficiency and Productivity Act as a member of the respective PTBFP Management Team |

Academic degree in pharmaceutical science or engineering required, advanced degree in pharmaceutical development or engineering preferred Experience in packaging operations and/or parenteral drug product bulk manufacturing 10+ years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 5 or more years of senior level management experience required Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team with dotted-line reporting relationship Effective skills in both project and people management Demonstrated ability to drive for results and lead innovation and change Familiarity with tools and techniques of formal process management and improvement methodologies (e.g. Operational Excellence) Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively communicate and influence across all levels of the organization
