The International Medical Leader assumes the medical affairs lead (strategic direction, data generation, data dissemination and Key Opinion Leader development) for a brand or a therapeutic area. The role requires strong disease specific expertise and clear business focus to identify and address the relevant needs of clinical medical practice and a successful commercialization strategy
In addition he/she Providing medical input into lifecycle plan, strategic launch plans, global business / marketing plans Providing medical input into 'Therapeutic Area Strategic Plan' Taking part in the development of medical messages within the marketing strategy Responsible for the post registration medical strategy and budget within Lifecycle Team Identifying potential scientific interest for line extension according to the understanding of actual and future practice in key markets Initiating, maintaining and expanding knowledge and expertise in relevant medical-scientific areas |
