•Drive the risk management of Merck Serono •Support the Strategic Planning Cycle of Merck Serono •Coordinate communication activities of the President Office •Drive specific operational and strategic projects/ initiatives
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES Drive the risk management of Merck Serono •Defining and rolling-out of an annual risk review calendar •Ensure that the Merck Serono Divisional process is aligned with the Merck Group one •Coordinating risk and risk mitigation planning update and reporting. Prepare risk briefing for the Executive Management Board (EMB) •Continuously improving the way risk management is integrated in the Merck Serono Strategy, and objectives (e.g. BSC) •Monitoring mitigation plan implementation Support the Strategic Planning Cycle of Merck Serono •Support the strategic planning director during the Strategic Planning Cycle (strategy Update, 4-year planning, Operative Planning - Lead sub team involved in the Strategic Planning Processes - Prepare for teams and EMB the briefing documents, and consolidate reporting •Track progresses on strategic initiatives •Support the transition from 4 year planning to annual budgeting with particular focus on country budgeting Coordinate communication activities of the President Office •Propose and ensure proper execution of the President Office communication activities, including cascading of the information to our internal customers (at headquarters and country level) Drive specific operational and strategic projects/ initiatives •Lead and/or contribute (according to scope/size) operational and or to strategic projects as defined by the EMB / Merck Serono President |

•Master degree in science and/ or economics •Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry documented through project work, ideally 3 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry •International background •Excellent English language verbal and written skills, knowledge of German or French language of advantage •Good interpersonal and networking skills •Conceptual, methodological, analytical skills •3 - 5 years Consulting experience •Operational background is an advantage •Business and result orientation •Good communication/interpersonal skills •Well organized, flexible person •Team worker •Resilient and flexible •Sense of priorities in a fast changing work environment |
