Du Pont de Nemours International S.A. in Geneva has currently an opening position for a: Occupational health nurse (Infirmier(ère) Diplomé(e))
As part of the European Integrated Health Services team, and under the guidance of the Geneva company medical doctor, the occupational health nurse will provide professional medical services for current and new employees at the Geneva site, which employs about 700 employees, located in the administrative offices in Grand-Saconnex, in the European Technical Centre in Meyrin and in the production centre in Bulle.
The occupational health nurse is the first-line contact and support for employees at all levels in the Geneva organization, carries out medical technical examinations and laboratory work, and provides specialized knowledge about travel medicines. The nurse participates actively in networks and committees inside and outside the company and is able to take decisions in cases of emergencies and in the absence of the company doctor.
This person is also substantially involved in the promotion and management of our Integrated Health Services standards at a site level - including prevention, wellness and safety programs - and participates in the implementation of European policies, complying with national legislation. The position furthermore includes full responsibility for handling and managing the administrative work related to the Geneva Medical Division and offers a day schedule with semi-flexible working hours. |

•An accredited degree of a professional Nursing School (infirmier(ère) diplomé(e));
•Written and spoken fluency in English and French;
•Preferably 3-5 years of professional experience in Occupational Health Nursing or in a Public Health sector;
•High value and motivation towards Prevention and Wellness;
•A marked sense of teamwork and interpersonal sensitivity;
•A balanced, open personality with a continuous improvement attitude;
•The ability to cope with pressure with a minimum of guidance;
•Aptitude to work with electronic office equipment (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). |
