Your main responsibilities in this role, based in Basel Switzerland will be to lead, plan, and manage a global IT program(s) consisting of multiple complex projects with one or more project teams in the informatics environment to achieve the program's objectives and benefits. Additional tasks will be: Works with senior management and Information Manager(s) across functions to define and agree on program strategy, objectives and benefits, scope, overall schedule, organization and resources Creates and oversees program plan, defines program organization and mobilizes resources Tracks program progress with respect to schedule, budget, demonstrated program benefits. Recognizes out of line situations and take measures to bring program back on track Resolves scope, schedule, resource and financial conflicts Lead team building within program, and creates high performance environment Manages cross functional stakeholder expectations and program risks, assumptions, dependencies and issues Manages external suppliers and contractors as required Manages, mentors and supports project managers and project stream leads Recommends changes to the IT organization, processes, architecture and infrastructure Actively attends activities and courses related to the Project Management (PM) Community Provides senior knowledge and support to all PM Community activities Actively mentors Project Managers to increase project management proficiency within Pharma Global Informatics, Infrastructure Services (PGI) |

10-20 years of diversified business experience in multiple areas of technology 3-7 years in Informatics project management; having managed at least 2 complex global projects with a budget of at least 5 Mio CHF and a team of 15 in multiple continents Experience in program organization and resource mobilization, and management of senior stakeholders Dealt with complex management issues on a global level (scope, time, cost, quality, risk, team) Multicultural / International experience and scope Acted as a member of an international leadership team, demonstrating competency in strategic thinking
