The team "SDLC Projects & Program Management" is responsible for the continuous improvement projects managing tools and process changes used as part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) based on Rational Unified Process (RUP). The Project Manager / Release Manager is responsible for delivering the objectives of projects or sub-projects that form an integral part of a highly complex project or entire program. This includes responsibility for the timely implementation of defined project objectives in line with quality standards and the budget.
Key Responsibilities based on the SDLC:
• Manage all aspects of a project, which include project planning, allocating resources, shaping priorities, execution, timing, quality, cost, early identification of potential risks and issues and establish a set of practices that ensure the integrity and quality of project work products
• Organize and manage the project team directly or as a part of a matrix organization, ensuring efficient use of resources and keep the project team focused
• Managing all centralized release management an program management office aspects such as release definition, coordination, dependency management, pilot organization and status reporting
• Identify stakeholders and clients, evaluate their interests and establish effective communication channels with them and coordinate interactions with customers and users

• Higher education in informatics, computer science (FH/ETH/UNI/master) or equivalent advanced certification (e.g. IPMA)
• A minimum of five years of experience in information technology (IT) and at least 2 years in IT project management
• Experience in the software development lifecycle
• Scope estimation, planning, time management, project costing and budget management
• Resource planning, resource management and procurement
• Risk analysis, dependencies and decision analysis skills
• Delivery based management, a focus on the delivery of customer value, in the form of executing software that meets (or exceeds) the customer's needs
• Experience in Rational Unified Process (RUP) preferred
• Presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
• Leadership and team building capabilities
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English and German
