In this challenging position, you will be part of an international team that is accountable for overseeing the Drug Product (DP) contract manufacturing network. Your main tasks and responsibilities will be: * Managing the overall relationship towards selected Contract Manufacturing Oorganisations (CMO) * Leading the selection process, implementation and management of commercial CMOs in accordance with the global manufacturing strategy to obtain best value for Roche in terms of costs, services and assurance of supply * Negotiating supply contracts that have complex technical and financial scope * Developing and maintaining complex supply and business relationships with commercial CMOs and business partners * Leading and collaborating with broad cross-functional teams to achieve Roche’s business, manufacturing, technical and quality objectives and performance goals for the contract manufacturing or business relationships * Applying advanced business knowledge, technical principles, expert judgment, and cross-functional expertise to the development of new concepts and processes and independently address a broad range of complex problems |

* Bachelor degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or Business (MBA preferred), combined with over 6 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, devices or related industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Small molecules or drug product manufacturing experience is required; strong quality orientation with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice, regulatory guidelines and validation practices will be a benefit * Subject Matter expert of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and processes * Demonstrated ability to negotiate and develop contracts with minimal guidance * Demonstrated ability to lead/direct and work in large, cross-functional, cross-enterprise, and/or multi-cultural project teams * Strong ability to lead strategic outsourcing, business, operations and quality decisions at all levels of an organization * Demonstrated skills in financial concepts and cost-benefit analysis skills as well as demonstrated project management skills are required * Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills to address a broad range of complex problems to support business decisions
