SWG Channel Sales Manager
Position is responsible for leading the development, deployment and execution of the SWG Channel for Alps (Switzerland and Austria). It should be a Primus role based in Switzerland (for Alps) with responsibility for insuring consistent and successful implementation.

Candidate will need to have a minimum of 10 years experience working with/for a high technology partner ideally with hardware, software and services responsibility. Candidate should have P&L knowledge from a service provider or value added reseller perspective ideally with experience running such a business or division of a business. Knowledge of competitive channel programs both hardware and software including incentives, enablement, certifications and distribution would be a large positive.

The manager is responsible for all aspects of business attainment ensuring adequate professional, product and solution skill mix as it relates to business partners and focus areas for which his/her sales representatives are responsible. Responsibilities include: successfully executing the basic management responsibilities common to all IBM managers; ensuring all department revenue, quota sales, cost and expense items are met; developing and cultivating client relationships and satisfaction and resolves complaint issues; identifying and ensuring satisfactory completion of all skill enhancements required by sales representatives to perform assignments; and developing short-term department planning objectives, including resource requirements, and client approaches. Leverage IBM as a global company to achieve local business objectives.
