Technical Documentation Manager
You will be responsible for international documentation projects consisting of operator's manuals and online help systems and for software localization, considering legal requirements as well as Roche corporate standard operating procedures and quality assurance procedures in close cooperation with the system project leader. Your responsibility includes creating documentation concepts as well as ensuring the timely implementation of documentation projects and adhering the allocated financial resources and given requirements. You will select, contract and supervise external documentation providers, and co-ordinate our internal technical writers. In addition, you will be responsible for the localization of software and documentation with external agencies, and for the co-ordination of translation reviews with the Roche country organizations. Providing documentation in electronic and printed formats will also be one of your tasks.

You have a diploma in technical documentation, or other qualifications in this field, or you have a diploma as a translator (German/English - further languages an advantage). Alternatively, you have several years experience in a similar position. In addition, you have experience with documentation projects in the area of molecular diagnostics or other diagnostics areas or medical technology. General laboratory experience is desirable. You are fluent in English, and your knowledge of FrameMaker as well as your experience with translation management complement your profile. You are able to work independently and you are a strong team-player as well. Experience in an international environment combined with the necessary communication skills are among your strengths. In addition, you are proactive and able to withstand stress, and you are willing to travel on business.
