IBM Corporate Citizenship & Corporate Affairs is represented in more than 160 countries, providing a diverse set of solutions and programs that aim to help communities live and work better. Areas of activity include Diversity, Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility, Accessibility, Employee Well-being and Volunteering.

Project Area Description
The mission of the Swiss Corporate Citizenship & Corporate Affairs team is to develop and implement successful programs on the basis of societal needs and in accordance with IBM’s objectives. In addition, educational events for children and young adults are organized throughout the year, some of them within IBM’s premises, offering IBM volunteers a platform to demonstrate their skills and know-how. Their aim is to motivate students to learn more about technology/science/problem solving and give IBM volunteers the chance to share their skills and know-how in an entirely different setting.
Furthermore, Corporate Citizenship & Corporate Affairs promotes various social and educational websites and kiosks developed by IBM.
The Swiss Corporate Citizenship & Corporate Affairs team attends conferences on education and IT regularly, sharing their experiences and know-how and working closely with institutions such as the IBM Zurich Laboratory, Philias (CSR Switzerland), Pedagogical Universities, Science Centres, ZEWO, and participates in a volunteering research project of ETH Zurich.
